One of these is desktop search; users will be able to change the default desktop search program to one provided by a third party instead of the Microsoft desktop search program that comes with Windows Vista, and desktop search programs will be able to seamlessly tie in their services into the operating system. These changes come in part due to complaints from Google, whose Google Desktop Search application was hindered by the presence of Vista's built-in desktop search. If you have internet service via satellite dish then make sure to test your speeds before you sign up. Satellite with upload speeds in the 4-5 hundreds but that still does not mean you can have a seamless transition to Vonage. The dish QOS is more important. It needs to be right around 80.

Support is pretty good. A lot if not all of the customer service is outsourced so your sent everywhere in the world if you call which can be good and bad.

You can choose what you want more clearly. I think cell plans sometimes say they will be one price but when you actually check out there are so many other possible fees for things you would need. The benefit also is you can switch your home phone plan anytime with no cost (or at least who I have, Qwest, lets you)

I love Gmail?it's everything regular emails have plus all that Google has masterminded. You can set up your calendar for appointments and share this calendar with other email addresses. You can set up Google Reader to subscribe to your favorite websites and have all the information on one page instead of clicking all over to different website. There are a lot of great features and best of all it's easy!

I love that you can chat on gmail. Anyone else who is signed in you can IM them and if you have an AIM account with AOL you can upload this buddy list as well and talk to people through that. The layout of everything is very pleasant on the eyes as well. Functions are clear and you can look at your mail much easier than any email service I have used. I love also how they group the forwards and replies into single conversations so it doesn't overload your inbox.

There is a huge amount of storage in Gmail and it grows everyday because Google keeps adding more megabytes per user. You can upload photo albumns through Gmail which is a huge plus given all the memory you can work with. Google documents is great too but not all computers have the same microsoft office or other processing programs so Google documents converts all programs into one so you can view whatever is sent.
