I downloaded a back up program for my work. It's a one man consulting shop so there isnt a ton of material to insure but the download version was great. No need to go out and buy a program because everything you need is right online. You download the back up and have a copy on your computer and then they store a version of your back up as well so its like having 2 insurance policies.

It may take some time to find it but I know on my Windows XP computer there is a built in back up program. You just need to find the Windows VP back up and restore wizard and it walks you through the rest.

GREAT! They allow you to add what you want and not pay for what you don't. You get everything standard without a choice but if you have a certain field of work where you use a feature more they can customize your computers to reflect that.

The customizing is great although it works best with Windows XP. ME and Vista conflict a little.

Pretty good for a PC. Mac's tend to have what you want and that? why you buy them but to be able to customize a PC as competition is always a plus.

From their website, you can build a computer to YOUR specs. Very nice. Alternatively, they have a refurb site (I think dell.com/refurb) where you can get some good deals. Items change constantly as there they get sold - it's a popular site.Hope this info helps...

Yes?you can check your email remotely anywhere on aol.com. Just log in and see everything. You can also download AIM seperately for instant messaging if you do not want to actually sign into the AOL regular software.

I am computer illerate, but I know I want to upgrade my dell po, and I want a laptop. I want to be able to download most games and music, and dvd's I now have a dell desk top with a cd burner. Not the newest on the block. What is the best to purchase (yet most reasonable) computer to do all of this? I also want a laptop that I can dothe same/which is the most reasonable and the best for what I want todo. As you can tell, I am computer illiterate and don't want to get ripped off/ best brand for the money. I have a dell pc now, is it worth upgrading?

i am frustrated beyond belief !!!! I cannot use my lexmark all in one printer with my new computor that has the windows vista program on it.... my old pc had windows xp, I am so so sorry I don't still have the windows xp program. I have a printer I can't even use !!!!!!! Help !!!! I am not PC savy.
